Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of four-numbers.com. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Provider

Four Numbers is provided by Nadzeya Yashchuk, a sole proprietor based in Wals-Siezenheim, Austria. Contact: contact@nadzeyayashchuk.com (full details in the Impressum).

2. Use of the site

Four Numbers is a free browser puzzle offered for personal, non-commercial use, for entertainment and mental-arithmetic practice. There is no account, no sign-up and nothing to buy. Your progress stays in your own browser.

3. Availability

The site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Features may be added, changed or discontinued at any time without notice, and access may be interrupted for maintenance or for reasons outside our control.

4. Acceptable use

Please do not misuse the site: do not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access to it or to any system connected to it, or use automated means that place an unreasonable load on it or degrade it for others.

5. Intellectual property

The arithmetic exercise behind this site — combining four given numbers with addition, subtraction, multiplication and division to reach a target — is a classic of recreational mathematics and is in the public domain. Nothing in these Terms claims ownership of it, and nothing here prevents you from playing, teaching or writing about it.

What is protected is this site’s own expression of that idea: its design, branding, copy and original source code, which remain the property of the provider or its licensors.

6. Third-party names and trademarks

Any third-party product names or trademarks that may appear on this site remain the property of their respective owners. Four Numbers is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any other publisher, brand or organisation.

7. No warranty

The site is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the provider is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the site. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer-protection rights and liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Austria, without regard to conflict-of-law rules and without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights of your country of residence.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be reflected here with a revised date.
